may, if the requirements are met, be legally recognized by the Italian State as equivalent to an Italian PhD, provided that the applicant is a citizen of the European Union.
FINAL HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS OBTAINED ABROAD
may, provided the requirements are met, be:
- declared equivalent by the Italian State for all legal purposes, provided that the applicant is a citizen of the European Union or a non-EU citizen who has acquired Italian citizenship by marriage or naturalisation;
- recognised by the Italian State for the purposes of registration in the employment lists or in the register of commercial operators kept by the Chambers of Commerce, for all foreign citizens;
- recognized by the Italian State in order to participate in public competitions, only if the applicant is a citizen of the European Union;
- recognized by Italian universities for the purpose of access to university studies, for all foreign citizens.
